M-A-L-E Violence
A whopping 90% of abuse committed is by males. When you first look at the number, it’s rather shocking, yet it is a reality. Male violence is sadly becoming the norm, weather its seen in video games, music videos, movies, TV or even just photos, it being more acceptable every day. Simply because of this, it is worth taking the time to focus on this issue as it specifically relates to men. Many turn their cheek to male violence, and its totals are increasing every day vastly. Violence has become a large part in our everyday life, weather big or small it affects us all. After all Boys Will Be Boys, so does that give them the right to be rebellious? I think not.
f-i-v-e stereotypes include:

Attitude is Everything

In the Chanel Advertisment, the man is seen attacking his own shadow that appears to be bigger than him, yet he is succeeding and getting what he wants. This man looks to be about mid-20’s early 30’s when it is the ideal for a person to achieve what he/she wants or desires in life.

The Cave Man Mentality

This technique easily demonstrates masculinity in male advertisements. Just by what the people are wearing in the advertisement it displays dirty and rough play Blood and dirt resemble the cave man mentality.

The New Warriors

Call of Duty is a prime example of a New Warriors Advertisement; the vast majority of teenage boys play such a violent video game influencing them in more ways then one. New Warriors advertisements make consumers associate danger, violence and excitement with the products that are being advertised.

Muscles and the "Ideal Man"

These ads portray a strong, muscular body with the image of ideal manhood. With the sort of sexualized quotation, the advertisement over all( showing a muscular man) is a perfect example of the “Ideaal Man”. They are creating an unrealistic reality.

Heroic Masculinity

Is Hollywood's glamorization of male violence; portray the violent male as a heroic ideal. Spider man is utterly glamorized to the maximum, both his dark side and good side.

M-O-D

On November 20th I and I believe our entire class had the experience of a lifetime! From watching behind the scenes to actually being on television! "HI MOM!". Much Music is much much more than what it is made out to be. So much happened behind the scenes, its incredible! Not only were our brains overflowed with information but also with complete images of what is what while its happening in real life! Just before we were 'featured' on much on demand, we had the compete pleasure to visit the television museum. At first it didn't seem as much but when explained in detailed it was a earful. From learning who developed the very first television to how much music came to be! Moses Znaimer created the show itself, yet it never would of came to be if it wasn't for the large amount of people that hold it all together every step of the way. When our class was in the audience i was udderly shocked to find out there is nothing set in stone at much, no script no nothing. Well, other than the 'NOW EVERYBODY SCREAM, GET LOUD, CLAP!". MOD is extremely entertanive, so may teens are glued to the show, with their controversy stories, funny jokes, dancing and most of all creativity. VJ's defiantly benefit from much music and so must much's sponsers ad creators. which such uniqueness MOD is one of a kid!

MOD covers almost all subjects teens and tweens are interested in, the possibilities are endless, literally! Both side of the story is told on MOD, both negative and positive. MOD throws new things at teens everyday and they devour it. MOD shows a way of life that is desirable, but not nessicarly always available to every teen. In my opinion, Much should revise what they are feeding today youth, making sure things do not get completely blown out of proportion.

Much's idea of importance s portrayed in all their shows, sometimes its not nessicarily the factual importance that is showed. Overall, MOD is definitely FTW! (for the win!). OD has it's highlights, lowlights and out f this world crazy haircuts, but in the end hair grows back and MOD bounces back!
